Dear All,
It is our pleasure to invite you to the Aspire Invitational Meet in association with EXPO 2020 Dubai. This event -approved by Dubai Sports Council- is taking place from Friday, the 11th of March till Sunday the 13th of March at the FIELD OF DREAMS at Expo 2020 Dubai.
It promises to be an exciting event with some guest performances from some rhythmic and artistics medal winners from the last Olympics in Tokyo 2021. Not to be missed!
All acrobatic, rhythmic and artistic gymnasts are invited to participate.
Friday, 11th March 2022 – Acrobatic Gymnastics Competition
There are no age restrictions for the acrobatic competition and we follow the British National Development Plan Grade 1-5, Youth and IDP1 & 2, 11-16, 12-18, Junior and Senior.
Saturday, 12th March 2022 – Rhythmic Gymnastics Competition
All gymnasts starting birth year 2016 are welcome to participate, we follow the new FIG program 2022-2024 Code of Points.
Sunday, 13th March 2022 – Artistic Gymnastics Competition
This competition is for Girls Level 4 and above (USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic Program – 2021-2029, Women’s Development Compulsory Exercises) and Boys Level 5 and above (USA Men’s Development Program, Junior Competition manual 2021-2024). Girls can compete on the following apparatuses: vault, beam and floor and boys can compete on the following apparatuses: vault, pommel and floor.
All clubs are kindly requested to confirm their participation no later than 10th of February 2022 by submitting the official registration form (all clubs are obligated to use the attached Excel sheet and fill in all details, any mistakes on names cannot be changed on certificates once they are printed and children registered with the wrong date of birth will be disqualified – strictly use the following format DD/MM/YYYY format for the dates of birth).
Kindly follow the above deadline to help us with the organization of the event.
Please refer to the attached invitation and the directives for more details on the venue, competition fees and judging requirements.
Entry of the venue will strictly follow current COVID-19 safety rules and guidelines.
Participants have free access to Expo 2020 Dubai on competition day.
We will continue to provide competition updates as we progress in our preparations for the meet.
